11th Auto Expo 2012 Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-Companies to exhibit new models in Auto Expo

11^th Auto Expo 2012, New Delhi

Pragati Maidan in Delhi is going to be the venue for 11^th Auto Expo which is going to be held from 7^th January, 2011 to 11^th January, 2011.  Many automobile companies are going to launch their new vehicles in the auto expo.  Eleventh Auto expo will be jointly organized by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, Confederation of Indian Industry and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association.  One thousand five hundred exhibitors belonging to 24 countries will participate in the Expo.  Automobile companies will be exhibiting their latest models in the 11^th Auto expo.  Ferrari and Fuso companies are participating in the show for the first time. Latest models of cars that will be exhibited in the expo are –

Maruti Ertiga:

  With Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki Company is entering into utility vehicles segment.  This car is going to be first compact MPV of India. Ertiga which is going to be available in petrol and diesel variants will give strong competition for Toyota Innova. Price of Maruti Ertiga will be Rs. 6 – 9 lakhs.

Mahindra Reva NXR:

Mahindra is going to exhibit Reva NXR vehicle which is priced Rs. 3.5 – 5 lakhs.  Mahindra Company will introduce Reva NXR as a complete electric car with four seats and two doors.  The car is designed to run 150 – 200 kms when the battery is charged once.  Attractive price will be decided for the car.

Hyundai Sail: General Motors is designing Hyundai Sail cars in Hatchback and Sedan segments.  Petrol and diesel variants will be launched first and later the company is planning to launch CNG and LPG variants also.  11^th Auto Expo will be the place where one can see Hyundai Sail model cars.

Renault Pulse:

The price of this four wheeler is going to be between Rs. 4.5 and 6.5 lakhs.  Renault Company has launched Fluence car in 2011 and there was a great response for the car.  The company is now planning to launch Renault Pulse price of which can be Rs. 30,000 more than Nissan Micra.

Ashok Leyland Nissan NV 200:

The price of the car will be between Rs. 7 and Rs. 12 lakhs. NV 200 is a vehicle that is designed jointly by Ashok Leyland and Nissan companies.  It is an MUV and the premium variant will be launched under Nissan brand and cheap variant will be launched under Ashok Leyland brand.

BMW Mini: BMW is setting up special showrooms and distribution networks for the sale of BMW mini cars.  It is expected that this car will be the special attraction in New Delhi 11^th Auto Expo. Three variants Cooper Hatch, Cooper Convertible and Countryman NUV will be launched in this model.
