IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Delhi has announced for admissions in PHd, Master of Science (Research-MSR) Part-Time, Full Time.
What is the eligibilty required for PHd?
-One should pass with 60% marks in M.E./M.Tech/M.D.or any equivalent courses OR 6.75 CGPA.
-60% pass in MSc/MA/MB or any equivalent courses
-73% pass in B.Tech or equivalent degree with GATE rank.
– Final year students of above studies, who will complete the studies by December 2009, are laso eligible for this PHd.
What are the requirements to be produced by the part time PHd students?
The candidates, who are interested to do the part time PHd in IIT Delhi, has to produce the ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the concern officers. And the candidates who are having sponsorship, have to submit the Sponsorship confirmation letter.
What is the eligibility required by the candidates, applying for MS(R)?
B.Tech/M Sc or any equivallent course with 75% marks, are eligible to get direct admission. But the candidates who got the 60-75% have to write the entrance examination /Interview conducting by the Institute.
What will be the FELLOWSHIP for the selected candidates?
Those who got the admission in PHd, with BTech, BE, MSc eligibity, will get Rs.12000/month for the first 2 years. And for the second 2 years they will get the FELLOWSHIP as Rs.14000.
Those who got the admission in PHd, with MTech, ME, MBBS eligibity, will get Rs.14000/month for the first 2 years. And for the second 2 years they will get the FELLOWSHIP as Rs.15000.

What are the fee details?
Rs.300 DD has to be take in favour of Registrar, IIT Delhi. And attach the same to the application form. The fee is Rs.150 for SC, ST, PH candidates.

November 20, 2009 is the last date for submitting application.
