Notification or Engineering Agricultural and Medical Entrance Test – AP EAMCET 2012 has been released on 9th February, 2012. Students who are seeking admission into Engineering, medical, agriculture, pharmacy and architecture courses offered in various government and private colleges across Andhra Pradesh has to appear and qualify in EAMCET.

For the first time, EAMCET 2012 applications will only be accepted online. Online applications will be available from 12th February, 2012. Last date for receiving applications is 30th March, 2012. It is estimated that nearly 3.30 lakhs will appear for engineering test, 95,000 for agriculture and medicine tests. In 2011, 3.50 lakh students wrote EAMCET. The fee for EAMCET 2012 is Rs. 250.  Candidates can apply for engineering medical and agriculture test through a single application. But they will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500.

Online applications for EAMCET 2012 can be submitted through AP Online, E-Seva, Mee Seva centers, 26 EAMCET Regional centers, helpline centers, Engineering colleges that have JNTUH affiliation or form any place that have internet facility. Those who have debit/credit/online banking facility can apply from their homes only. Information about EAMCET 2012 eligibility, courses, syllabus, age limit etc can be obtained from EAMCET website.

EAMCET 2012 Application Procedure

  • Candidates can pay the application fee at AP Online/E Seva/Mee Seva/Post Office centers. They have to provide their Intermediate/ + 2 hall ticket number, name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number and the exam for which they are appearing (Engineering/Medicine or both).
  • A receipt will be given to the candidates. This receipt will contain the transaction ID. This ID has to be mentioned in www.apeamcet.org to obtain EAMCET 2012 applications form.
  • When the candidates enter their + 2/Intermediate hall ticket number, the name of the candidate, photo and other details will appear in the application form through the online database. Candidates will have to enter their date of birth and address.
  • Those who have debit/credit card/net banking facility can pay the application fee online, get the transaction ID and fill the online application.
  • After completing the filling of online application, a confirmation page will appear with registration number. Candidates should take the printout of this page. This has to be produced in the EAMCET 2012 exam hall.

EAMCET 2012 notification has been released and candidates will have to send their applications only in online mode. EAMCET 2012 important dates are as follows.

  • Beginning of online applications – 12th February 2012
  • Last date for receiving EAMCET 2012 applications – 30th March, 2012
  • Last date for receiving applications with Rs. 500 fine – 9th April, 2012
  • Last date for submitting applications with Rs. 1,000 fine – 19th April, 2012
  • Last date for submitting applications with Rs. 5,000 fine – 28th April, 2012
  • With Rs. 10,000 fine – 9th May, 2012
  • Download of hall tickets begins on – 26th April, 2012
  • Last date for downloading hall tickets – 12th May, 2012
  • EAMCET 2012 date -12th May, 2012
