Apply for ration card in Arunachal Pradesh

 

All the Indian citizens residing in Arunachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for ration card.  Application for ration card can be submitted to the District Supply Officer at the district head quarters and to the SDO/EAC/CO at the administrative head quarters in Arunachal Pradesh.

Government employee who got transferred can apply for ration card in the new place along with a surrender certificate in Arunachal Pradesh.  The ration card can also be deposited in original at the place he was living earlier.  In such cases the application will be forwarded by the HOD.

The applications of common people for ration card in Itanagar, Bondila and Bhismaknagar in Arunachal Pradesh will be forwarded by Panchayat member or gaon Bura.  Authorities will verify whether the name in the application exists in some other ration card before issuing the ration card.  Persons who have completed 12 years of age are considered as adults.

Documents required for applying for ration card in Arunachal Pradesh are the surrender certificate for government employees, ration card of head of the household and inner line permits for people coming from outside.

The fee of Rs. 5 is charged for issuing ration card in Arunachal Pradesh. Application forms will be available in the office of the concerned authority.
