Road Transport Corporation has arranged to run special buses on the occasion of Dusshera.  1,505 special buses have ben arranged for the passenger who travel from Hyderabad to various districts of Andhra Pradesh. These buses will run from 8th October to 17th October.  These buses will depart from various points in Hyderabad like Mahatma Gandhi Bus station, JBA, Dilsukhnagar, Kukatpally Housing Board, ECIL.Jeedimetla, and LB Nagar.  These special buses are in addition to 3,500 buses which run regularly and 50% extra is charged for these services.  Tickets of regular services will have the same charge, but the special buses will cost more.  Some of the burden is laid on the customers to overcome the maintenance expenses.  Special buses can be recognized with their service numbers.  Buses that have service numbers more than 9000 are to be considered special services.  ‘Dusshera Special’ will be written on these services.  Reservations can be made to these services at MGBS, JBS and other 127 Authorized ticket Booking centers in Hyderabad.  Online booking facility is also available.  RTC authorities have requested the passengers to cooperate with them in taking action against authorized ticket booking counters who charge more or sell tickets in black.  The details of black marketers should be informed to 99592 26246.  Safety measures have been taken for passengers in Mahatma Gandhi Bus station.
