Paper-1 General studies and Mental Ability. This paper will be common for all branches 150 marks, 150 questions
Paper-2Optional subjects 1.Common paper for Civil and mechanical branches2.Special syllabus for electrical branch 150 questions and 150 marks
Paper – 3Optional subjects Separate syllabus for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical branches 150 questions and 150 marks

Total Marks : 450

Paper – 1 General Studies: Engineering students have to be very careful in Paper 1 of Executive Assistant Engineers written test. Disaster management has been included in the exam. 15 – 20 questions can be expected from General Science – Technology. 20-25 questions may be asked from Indian History and Culture. Andhra Pradesh history is also important. Ten to fifteen questions can be expected from Indian political system. There is a chance 30-35 questions come from Indian economy and geography. More than forty questions can be expected from current affairs. Mental ability questions will be 10-15.

Disaster Management: Disaster management in India and Andhra Pradesh, earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, famines-reasons, human errors, disasters and preventions.

Paper – 2: Paper-2 of Assistant executive engineer written exam contain questions from Strength of Materials for 75 marks and Fluid of Mechanics and Hydraulic machinery for 75 marks.

Paper – 3: This paper is related to engineer branch the candidate has selected.

Since for Paper – 2 and 3 of Assistant Executive Engineer written test calculators are allowed, various numerical questions may be asked. Time is very important for any objective exam. Numerical questions have to practice more times to answer the questions easily.
