Jaheeruddin Mohammad Babar, better known as Babar. He is a Muslim ruler of Persia, Middle Asia. His father’s name is Umar She Mirza. Babar is the ruler of Fergana Valley. Taimerlung is the paternal ancestor of Babar, while Chenigz Khan is his maternal ancestor. He has got the crown from his father at the age of twelve years. After many obstacles, he could establish Moghul Empire in India. He died in the year 1531. Babar means tiger, in Persian language. Babar Nama, the book written by himself is the main source of information about his administration and his kingdom. Many people believe that Babar has built Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. But, according to the historical evidences discovered at that place, this Masjid was built by the orders of Babar’s representative ruler Meer Baakhi. Owing to the affection towards his emperor, Meer Baakhi has named this masjid as Babri Masjid.
