Bajaj Auto has launched a sports bike  in India ‘Duke 200’ from it Austrian associate firm KTM portfolio on 24.1.2012.  Starting price of Duke 200 is Rs. 1.18 lakhs.  Bajaj auto is converting their 32 Pro-biking showrooms in India as exclusive sales outlets of KTM through which Duke 200 will now be sold. There will also be 40 service centers exclusively for KTM bikes.

Bajaj Auto Managing director said on the occasion of launching of Duke 200 that the launching of Duke 200 bike is one of the many mile stones in the association of Godrej with KTM over five years. The company is intending to strengthen their position in sports motorcycle segment.

Bajaj auto will now every year launch a new KTM bike.  Next year a 350 cc bike will be released and in another three years two more bikes will be launched.
