Bank Clerical jobs | Eligibility, Selection process, Salary and Exam paper pattern of Bank Exams

Eligibility:

They should pass the intermediate with 55% marks and they should obtain 60% marks in inter for few banks. If they don’t have the sufficient marks in inter, then they can attempt this exam after completing any degree. And 5% concession is given to SC and ST candidates.

Age:

They should be between 18- 28 years of age.

Selection:

The selection is based on the written exam and interview.

Written exam:

There will be objective and descriptive parts in this exam.

Objective exam:

There will be 50 questions in each category based on reasoning, numerical ability, clerical aptitude and English. Few banks will ask the questions based on quantitative aptitude instead of numerical aptitude, marketing aptitude and computer knowledge instead of clerical aptitude.

Descriptive exam:

They will ask to write an essay based on the general topics.

Salary:

They earn Rs.12500 in the starting and if they write the J.A.I.I.B exam conducted by Indian institute of banking and finance. If they qualify this exam, then they will be given the status equal to probationary officer.
