BITSAT Model Question Papers pattern
BITSAT is an entrance test intended for the admission into Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Earlier, intermediate marks are considered for giving admissions. But from 2005, online tests are conducted for 30 days in the months of May and June. Students can select their desired date and time for taking this online test.Â There are total of 150 questions. 40 questions from English, 40 from chemistry, 15 from English proficiency, 10 from Logical reasoning, 45 from Mathematics are asked. One correct answer carries three marks and for every wrong answer, one mark is deducted. Additional 12 questions can be availed after completing 150 questions.
Four questions from MPC are asked. These are intended for highly meritorious students. Once, the student takes these 12 questions, he cannot go back to the 150 questions and looses ability to correct them. BITSAT test is based on the NCERT syllabus.
