Calculation of Fitment| How the Fitment is calculated?

Government has agreed for giving 39% fitment for the employees. It is natural that all the employees have an enthusiasm as to how much they are going to benefit. This calculation is for such employees…
• Let us suppose the starting basic salary as Rs. 3850.
• DA at 42.39% is calculated on this basic up to 2009. This comes to Rs. 1632.
• For the same basic salary the present 39% fitment is calculated. It comes to Rs. 1501…
• 42.39% DA (Rs. 1632) and 39% fitment (Rs. 1501) when added to the basic salary Rs. 3850 comes to Rs. 6983. In the 84 slabs this salary comes under Rs. 7100 slab. That means the basic salary of this employee will be hereafter Rs. 7100.
• To this basic, after the PRC, along with the DA 9.436% given in July, 10% HRA for those working in rural areas, 20% HRA for those working at district level and 30% HRA for those working in Hyderabad will be added.

This will be the gross salary given to the employee hereafter. City Compensatory allowance of Rs.150 to Rs.300 will be paid for those working in Hyderabad.
