As like other banks, Central Bank of India also conducts written test and interview for the selection of candidates. Objective and descriptive papers will be present in the written test.

Speed is important for success in the test

Speed is the deciding factor in the success at written test. Four sections will be present in the objective test. They are test of reasoning ability, test of English language, test of numerical ability, and test of clerical aptitude. Two hundred questions have to be answered in 95 minutes.  That means, each questions has less than one minute of time. Also, there is negative marking in this test. So, it is necessary to be careful in answering the questions. Test of English language is just an eligibility test. Marks scored in this section will not be considered for merit list. In the descriptive test, candidate needs to write five essay type of answers. Internal choice facility will be provided for each  question.

Follow these tips for getting success in entrance test for Central Bank of India jobs

Prepare topics such as coding, decoding, arrangements, rankings, blood relations, distances and directions, data sufficiency and others to get good score in reasoning ability section. It is easy to deal with non verbal reasoning, when the candidate develops command on missing numbers, analogy, classification.

One should get command on mathematics subject of high school (from 6th class to  10th class), in order to excel in numerical ability. Also, candidates should prepare graphs and diagram based mathematical problems.

Candidates should not neglect English test since it is just an eligibility test. One can pass this section by preparing the topics such as basic grammar knowledge, spotting the errors, sentence correction, spellings and others. One should focus more on alphabetical order, spellings, punctuation marks, for clerical aptitude test.
