Two Wheeler Riders in The Monsoon

Showers bring us joy. But heavy rains cause a lot of problem in the form of over flowing man holes and flooded roads. Vehicle drivers are at risk because the one cannot see the manholes on the road.

A kit with all the needful things to protect ourselves should be carried in this monsoon season.  Many new products are available in the market.  Youth also are attracted to these products as these are very fashionable.

Driving a two wheeler in rain is very uncomfortable.  Keep a raincoat attached with a cap and a jerkin handy just in case it rains.  Carry a tool kit as the ‘two wheeler’ can give trouble in rain.  Keep cell phones and laptop in a plastic cover to protect them from rain.  It is of no use to carry an umbrella sitting on the pillion seat of the two wheeler in the rain and wind.  Stop the vehicle for some time by the side of the road.  Don’t forget to cover the ears of the children when taking them out on a two wheeler. Don’t forget to carry rain coats and gloves for them.

Wear a helmet and goggles which allows seeing in the dark.  Persons who drive four wheelers should pay attention to side doors and windows of their vehicles.  Pedestrians should carry and umbrella.

A kit in a bag with the following things should be carried when going out in the rain.  An umbrella, raincoat or a jerkin, slippers, gloves, boots, tool kit for vehicles in case if they give trouble, forst aid medicines for cold, covers to protect electronic goods should be carried in the kit.

Market is flooded with raincoats and jerkins of new designs.  Jerkins made with leather and foam are also available.  Jerkins are useful both in rainy and winter seasons.  They are available on foot paths as well as in shopping malls.  Prices start fro Rs.150 to thousands of rupees.  Quality and durability depends on the price.  Jerkins and raincoats in different designs for all the ages and both genders are available in the market.
