Career after B. Com | Career tips for commerce students

Jobs opportunities available for successful pass out students of B. Com are executives, accounts executives, book keepers, stock market, insurance, bank jobs, civil services, APPSC groups, sales and marketing, BPO, KPO and mutual fund sales representative.

Higher education options available for B. Com students are M. Com, integrated M. Com, Business economics, finance control course, MA economics, MA operational research, statistics, MBA (Master of Business Administration), hotel management, multimedia, animation and computer courses.

Professional courses available for B. Com students are ICWA, chartered accountant, financial analyst, law, company secretary, CFA, MCA, Mass communications, journalism, B. Ed, foreign trade, foreign language and public relations.

Competitive exams that accept B. Com as eligibility are civil services, APPSC groups, banking, SSB/ Air force, life insurance and combined defense services.

Higher education

M. Sc Finance and Computer Applications:

Master of Business Management (MBA):

If MBA is added to the qualification of B. Com students, they can excel in the management field. Through Common Entrance Test (CAT), one can get admissions in the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), spread all over India. To get admitted in to MBA course in Andhra Pradesh, one needs to get a rank in ICET.

Candidates with at least 50% marks in the graduation of any subject.

  3. i passed my bcom graduation with 49% and i m not getting any idea what course should i obtain as most of the addmission in post graduation require min 50% (graduation)even the competiting exams………….so please let me know if there are anyhigher studies or competiting exams which require less than 50% in graduation

  9. hello sir i m a grad b.com,i m having 49.8% in grad,my life is messedup,help me out i wanna do m.b.a or pgdm,but minimum 50% is required suggest a way,or a college who’ll take me through mangmt kota.
