In India Car Pooling is much familiar word in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai. It is now hearable even in Hyderabad. Two organizations came forward to make car pooling available to all city people. They are aiming to make an easy going from home to office and at the same time to reduce burden on city traffic. Carpooling can reduce traffic jams
As per the official calculations, there are 26 lakhs of private vehicles in Hyderabad. Moreover 2 lakhs of new vehicles are adding up every year. This means(,) on an average daily 500 new vehicles are coming on to the roads of Hyderabad. Recent survey revealed that 80% of the vehicles moving on roads are private vehicles only. Think once how the traffic will be, if the growth of vehicles is consistent in this manner. City residents are suffering greatly from present day situation. They are fearing very much thinking of traffic situation in future. Then what is the alternative for this problem.
