Staff Selection Commission SSC has released the notification for filling up around 50 thousand constable posts into various sections. There are thousands of vacancies in departments like BSF (boarder security force), CISF (central industrial security force), CRPF (Central reserve police force), SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal)and many more. Candidates who wish to settle in life with tenth class qualification can take this opportunity as a golden chance. since there are more number of vacancies  for constable posts,  well planned preparation will help to get the constable post.

Among all the vacancies that are released by SSC (49,080), around 6 thousand (GD) constable jobs are reserved for the Andhra Pradesh candidates. Among these vacancies around 3,728 posts are reserved for the naxals affected areas in Andhra Pradesh like Warangal, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Khammam, Medak, Nizamabad, Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Guntur, Prakasam, Anantapuram, Kurnool, Vizainagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, and Srikakulam. Besides these posts, SSC is also going to provide jobs of around 2538 in Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) and 880 posts in Assam Rifles. For all the above mentioned posts, tenth standard is considered as the basic eligibility. The candidates are selected based on the physical test, written test and medical test.

Physical Test

As a primary test for the constables for General Duty, there will be running race both for men and women. In this race, for men it will be 5KM of running which should be completed in 24 minutes. For women, there will be 1.6KM of running and should be completed in 8.5 minutes. The candidates who completed the running race will have events.

  • The first event is the long jump where the candidate had to jump 11 feet distance and for this trail there will be three chances. For the high jump, the candidate had to jump 3.5 feet distance with three chances.
  • Women candidates have to jump 9 feet for the long jump and 3 feet for the high jump and there will be three chances for both these.
  • The candidates who finished the physical test will have to attend  the written test. The exam will be in objective type with 100 marks with 100 questions. The questions will be in English and Hindi language.
