Deposit rates of SBI, Punjab National Bank and IDBI banks increased | Deposit rates are increased for all the term deposits under various slabs

Deposit rates

State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and IDBI banks has increased deposit rates from 30.09.2010.   Deposit rates of SBI on various term deposits are increased from 0.25% to 0.75%.  Deposit rates of Punjab National Bank are increased from 0.25% to 0.50%.  Term deposit rates of IDBI bank have increased from 0.15% to 0.50%.

SBI deposit rates

  • 91 – 180 days term deposit rates increased to 5.5% with an increase of 0.75%.
  • One year to 554 days deposit rates increased to 7% with an increase of 0.25%.
  • 555 days deposit rate is 7.5%
  • 556 – 1000 days deposit rates under various slabs reached 7.75% with an increase of 0.50%.

PSB new deposit rates

  • Deposit rates for 271 – 1 year are increased to 6% with an increase of 0.5%.
  • Interest rates for deposits of 1 – 3 years are 7.5% with an increase of 0.25%.
  • Deposit rates for 5 – 8 year term deposits are 7.75%.
  • 8 – 10 years term deposits will get an interest of 8%.
