Details of DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme | Eligibility and Selection Process for DAE Fellowship
DAE graduate fellowship scheme is of two year duration and eligibility for the course is minimum of 60% marks in the engineering and other courses. Students who apply for the DGFS course should get a seat in the selected college in M.Tech / ME. If the student does not a get a seat, then they wont be able to get a seat in the fellowship scheme even though they qualify in all the tests. Student who get selected for the DGFS scheme should do project work in the nuclear field in the related institute in the first year. After completing the project and getting the M.Tech degree, they can work as scientific officer in BARC in Mumbai, RRCAT in Indore and in IGCAR.
Selection process for DAE graduate fellowship scheme
Selection is done in two methods in which one is institute selection process and other is based on GATE score. In the institute selection, written exam and interview are conducted for the students. Based GATE â€“ 2011 score, candidates who get more marks are called for an interview. Candidates who are interested in the selections should mention that point in the applications. Physics, chemistry, bio sciences and geophysics candidates can apply in two methods.
