Details of All India Engineers Entrance Examination (AIEEE) | Examination procedure, details and application procedure for AIEEE test
Stage is set for All India Engineers Entrance ExaminationÂ (AIEEE) for which engineering aspirants would be waiting. Latest schedule has been released for AIEEE which is intended to provide admission in to National Institute of Technology and is conducted by CBSE yearly.Â Steps to be followed to get good score in this test and to secure a good rank, are detailed below.
Examination procedure of AIEEE:
Two papers will be present in AIEEE in objective method. Physics, chemistry and mathematics are present in paper-1. Mathematics part 1, aptitude test part 2, drawing test part 3 will be present. It is enough for BE, B. Tech aspirants to attend for paper 1 only. Aspirants of Bachelor of architecture or planning have to attempt paper 2. Maximum number of marks and questions will be changing every year.
Details of AIEEE entrance test:
Candidates with pass in intermediate can apply for AIEEE. Those who are studying second year can also apply for this test. Applications are made available from 15th December 2010 to 14th January 2011. Online applications are made available from 23rd November 2010 to January 14th 2011. Last date for online application is 14th January 2011 through online and 20th January 2011. Written test will be conducted on 24th April 2011 and online test will be conducted from 1st to 15th May 2011.
Application procedure for AIEEE
Students can apply in online or offline methods. To apply offline, pay specified fee at specified branches of Syndicate bank or CBSE regional offices and get information booklet. Cost of BE/ B. Tech course information booklet is Rs. 600 for general/ OBC students (Rs. 300 for SC/ ST candidates), Cost of B. Arch/ B. Planning information booklet is Rs. 1,000 for general students (Rs. 500 for SC/ ST students). For online application, Rs. 500 has to be paid by general students for B.E/ B. Tech courses (It is Rs. 250 for SC/ ST candidates) and it is Rs. 900 for B. Arch / B. Planning courses (Rs. 450 for reserved category students).
