Details of CDSE (Combined Defense Services Examination) | Combined Defense Services Salary Rs.45000

February 15th, 2010| Jobs.

Once upon a time the youth afraid to join in defense services because of attacks from terrorists, fear of wars and low salary besides tough admissions, insufficient accommodation facilities and mainly living in hill stations which are far away from their birth places and family. Due to globalization the Multinational companies are wide spread in the world and are attracting the youth by offering huge amount of salaries.  The effect of this change is seen in defense also. Due to this reason some of the changes are made in the procedure of admissions which makes easier to join in defense services. The changes like increase of salaries and the recommendations given by the sixth pay commission brought into implementation which resulted in the increase of salaries up to 40 percent.  In earlier days the candidate who selected for the combined defense service by writing an entrance examination will get Rs. 8000/- as a stipend during the training period and now this is increased to Rs. 21,000/-. After completion of their training period they get around Rs. 45,000/- including allowances as salary every month.

If we take this into consideration, next to civil services, it comes the CDSE cadre in the top list of employment and there is no competition for this post in this field because there is no other job which pays Rs.45,000/-  for the graduation candidates. If we take into consideration the Multi National Companies, they are offering such huge salaries only for the well qualified and highest degree candidates like for the Post Graduates. But in CDSE, just by the degree of BA, Bcom, BSc can get higher positions in starting stage itself. It is not like that of the private sector where, there is an effect of inflation, cuttings in the salaries and pink slips will not be there. But, there are only pay slips, promotions and allowances.
