The popular college for law which is NALSAR University of law and institute of insurance and risk management are combinedly providing a PG course. This is two year regular course and there are 20 subjects in total. The degree is combinedly provided by the NALSAR and IIRM institutes. IRDA is started by IIRM with the help of Andhra Pradesh government. The goal of this professional course is to provide the human resources for the banks, finance institutes, insurance companies, mutual fund companies and capital markets. There is an internship opportunity along with the course and there are 60 seats. They will also have the placements in the college in which they study.

  • Any candidate who completes the degree is eligible and they should get 50% marks. The preference is given to the candidates who have experience in the insurance, banking and other finance companies. The final year graduates are also eligible.
  • The candidates are selected based on the educational qualifications, experience, written exam or interview. There will be weightage for the higher educational qualifications.
  • The applications can be downloaded from the IIRM and NALSAR websites.
  • The last date for the applications is 16th august, 2010.
