Details regarding commercial pilot

One needs to have commercial pilot license to join as pilot in an airline company. First student pilot license is given, then private pilot license and after that commercial pilot license is given.

In India, The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) conducts examination for student pilot license in its affiliated flying training institutes or clubs. Air Navigation, Aviation metrology, Air regulation, Aircraft and engine/ instruments are the topics covered in this test. Candidates with tenth class are eligible for this course.

Central Examination Organization and DGCA conduct tests for private pilot and commercial pilot. Candidates who have got trained in flying can appear for this test. Practical will also be conducted.
