What are the minimum marks in EAMCET?

For getting pass marks in EAMCET (for getting a rank), one has to get 25 percent. That means, a student has to get at least 40 marks or above out of 160 marks. For SC/ ST students, there is no minimum marks level prescribed.

Rank calculation procedure of EAMCET

A procedure will be followed in giving final ranks in EAMCET. EAMCET marks will be calculated for 75. Along with practicals marks, inter group subject marks will be calculated for 25. Final rank will be calculated by combining these two marks. When two or more students get same final marks, following order will be considered for giving ranks.

1.      Marks obtained in EAMCET

2.      Marks obtained in mathematics/ biology in EAMCET

3.      Marks obtained in Physics in EAMCET

4.      Percentage of marks in eligibility test (intermediate exam)

When the marks are same in all the above factors, then the age of the candidate will be considered for giving ranks. Candidate having more age will be given better rank.
