EDCET 2012 Details

EDCET convener has informed that EDCET – 2012 that will be conducted for BEd admissions will be held on 8^th June, 2012 from 11.00 am to 01.00 pm.   EDCET 2012 schedule was released on 16^th, February, 2012.   He has also informed that EDCET notification will be released on 5^th March, 2012 and applications will be available from 9^th March, 2012.   Application fee is Rs. 150.   Applications can be obtained in person from post offices, e-seva centers, Axis bank branches and can also be downloaded from the website.   Filled in applications should be sent before 24^th April, 2012.   Issue of hall tickets will begin from 22^nd May, 2012.   Minimum marks for qualifying in EDCET 2012 are 37 for all candidates except SC/ST candidates.

EDCET 2012 question paper will have three sections.   Section A will contain general English questions, Section B will have general knowledge and Teacher aptitude questions and Section C will contain questions from the optional subject.   Total marks are 100.   Candidates will not be admitted into the EDCET 2012 exam center even if they come a minute late.
