An organization Eloca belonging to Hyderabad has designed the Smallest CPU that fits in the palm. Weight of this CPU is only 135 grams and runs at 1giga hertz speed.  It utilizes 5 watt power.  CPUs generally utilize 65 watt electricity and weighs 6kgs.  Another special feature of Eloca CPU is that this can be connected to television to use it as a computer.  This was designed with the aim to bring computer to be affordable by poor people.  Eloca has worked hard for two years to design this CPU. This is presently available in the market and the price is Rs.6,000.  This CPU can also be used with 12 watt battery in rural areas where electricity is not available.  Eloca has also developed a system where five computers are connected and solar energy is used to make them work.  These can be used in computer labs in schools.
