Engineering fee, Tution Fee and Special fee details of Convener quota, Management quota and NRI students for the acedamic year 2010 – 2011

Andhra Pradesh Government has taken a decision regarding the course fee and special fee in private and unaided professional colleges like Engineering, Pharmacy, Planning, Architecture, Pharma-D, MBA and MCA.  These were decided as per the suggestions of Admission and Fee Regulation Committee (AFRC).  A G.O has been issued by the Higher Education Department on 13.08.2010. The new fee will be valid for the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, but there may be a change in the fee depending on the inflation.

Tuition fee

The Tuition fee for Engineering, Pharmacy, Planning and Architecture courses under convener quota will be Rs.31,000 per year.  Under management quota the fees is decided as Rs.95,000. NRI students who are admitted under management quota will have to pay a fee of 5,000 American dollars.

Annual tuition fees for Pharma-D courses under convener quota will be Rs.68,000 and under management quota the fees has been decided as Rs.1.55 lakhs.  NRI students have to pay 6,000 American dollars under management quota.  The fee in the NBA recognised colleges will be Rs.3,000 more.

Rs.27,000 will have to paid for MBA/MCA courses under convener quota and Rs.78,000 under management quota.

Special fee

Rs. 2,000 has to be paid for Admission/Registration/Recognisation fees (Rs.500 to the University and Rs.1500 to the college).  Library deposit is Rs.500 and Laboratory deposit is Rs.500.  These fee are to be paid only once by the first year students. For special services like Maintenance of the college, Health services, Reading room and college magazine, Rs.1,000 has to be paid every year.  Rs.1,500 is to be paid for common services like Academic Audit, Exam related services and Curriculum revision.  Students have to pay this fee to the colleges every year from the academic year 2010-11.  The annual fee can be paid fully or in installments.

The colleges should not charge any capitation fee directly or indirectly except the fee indicated in the G.O.  The colleges cannot continue any course without the approval of the Government/AICTE/University.
