Engineering Services Examination ESE-2010 | Application Procedure of UPSC-ESE 2010

The candidates who got the job through Engineering Service Examination can reach the Director General post level in the future. The engineering service examination is held in four different sections and they are as follows:

Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Electronics and telecommunications engineering.

Application Procedure

The notification for the UPSC and ESE is released in the month of December or January every year and the exam is conducted in the month of June.

–          The applications for the UPSC and ESE are available in the head post offices and there is also facility to download the applications from the online also.

–          The candidates who are having Degree or its equivalent or MSc with electronics/ wireless communication/ radio physics/ radio engineering as a subject are eligible to appear for the exam.

–          The candidates had to high light the engineering option in the application but not the IES option which means the Indian Economic Service (IES).

–          The last date for the submission of the application in offline is March 3, 2010.
