All eligible people who want to register their names in electoral rolls in Minicoy, Karavatti, Amini in Lakshadweep can submit their applications online.  While filling the online applications all the fields marked with * must be filled compulsorily.  After receiving the applications the designated authority will call the applicant for a personal hearing and the date and a convenient date can be chosen by the applicant at the time of filling the online application. The printout of the application shall be taken and submitted to the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer/SDO/DC in the concerned area.  If the applicant is new, his photograph will be taken at the time of personal hearing.

After submitting the application for including name in electoral rolls in Lakshadweep, the applicant will receive a reply mail with a unique ID number.  The applicant can check the status of his application anytime on the internet.  After necessary verifications, the applicant’s name will be enrolled in the electoral rolls and a mail will be sent to them indicating the name and address of the polling station allotted to him.
