Free accommodation and food are given to girls and boys in separate college campuses. Free medical services are given in the service hospital and there are all the facilities for the students to play the games like volleyball, foot ball, squash, cricket, tennis, hockey, basketball, handball, table tennis etc. Movies in English and Hindi languages are displayed on the open air theatre in the campus. Expenses for the journey in AC compartment are paid by the institution if the students go home in the holidays. Rs.12,000 per year is given for the students for the expenses for books and other facilities. Each student is given Rs.6000 per year under uniform allowance, Rs.1250 per year for maintenance expense, Rs.1000 for stationary allowance and Rs.120 to wash 40 pairs of clothes.

 

 

 

Career prospects in AFMC

Students who complete MBBS course in AFMC should work as commissioned officers in army, navy and air force. After the completion of internship, they are given captain position. They can reach the position of captain after the completion of four years of service and they can become lieutenant colonel after 11 years of service. After that, based on their talent they can become colonel.

PG opportunity in AFMC

Students from AFMC are also given the opportunity to study PG in India or foreign countries in various specializations. These students should complete 4 years of service as captain and seven years of post internship. Students should write the central post graduate exam and qualified students are given three years of study leave. They will be paid their salary according to their position every month.

  1. during their mbbs the students should be given a monthly salary as they are being trained for working in the Indian army. they should need this money to support their families back at home while they are working hard to be able to serve the Indian army.
