What are the fellowships provided by the HNBI across India? | Research centers which provide fellowships

The Homi Bhabha National Institute had given the notification for the graduate fellowship scheme offered by the department of atomic energy. The candidates who are selected should do the P.Hd in the four research centers of HNBI across India.

Research centers:

Baba atomic research center- Mumbai

Indira Gandhi center for atomic research – kalpakam

Variable energy cyclotron center – Kolkata

Raja Ramanna center for advanced technology – Indore.

Departments offering the fellowship:

The departments which are offering the fellowship are mechanical, chemical, metallurgical, electronics, instrumentation and computers.

Duration: 3 years

Stipend: Rs.18000 per month with all the conditions.

Eligibility:  They should 60% in the M.Tech (mechanical/chemical/ metallurgy/ electrical/electronics/instrumentation/computers) or they should get 60% in BE/B.Tech.

The selection is done based on the interview and written exam. They should also give a small presentation on the topic they wish to do the research.

KSKRA opportunity:

The candidates who are selected for this fellowship will get a chance as associate for the KS Krishnan research center without screening test. They will give Rs.20, 000 as stipend per month and they will also appoint them as grade scientific officer in the research centers based on their talent.
