How is the unique identification number alloted to a person in issuing Aadhaar cards?

The central government has compiled few guidelines to gather the biometric details for Aadhaar cards. A special register has been designed by the Central IT department for birth registrations.  This net will have computers with web cameras and scanners.  Government is  thinking of using this device in Aadhaar project.

Name of each person, father’s name and address will be saved in the computer.  Passport size photo will be taken using the web camera.  The photo will be saved in the computer as and then.  If the two eyes in the photo are clicked,  there will be a signal to take the details of the iris.  The iris should not be closed before the special scanner.  The details of the right eye and then the left eye will be recorded.

Then the finger prints of the ten fingers will be recorded.  Five fingers should be placed on the latest scanner.  The model of the five fingers will appear on the computer screen.  Click each finger and finger print will be recorded in the computer.  With this, all the details for Unique Identification number are collected.  Based on these details a unique number for the particular person will be displayed on the screen.
