Wheat grains – 1cup
Pista, cashew and raisins – 1cup, mixture of all
Pine apple essence – 2drops
Ghee – for taste
Food color – a pinch
Sugar – 2cups
Elachi powder – 1tsp
Preparation: the wheat grains are to be soaked in water for the whole night and the next day it is to be made into a paste by adding water and drain the mixture and separate the milk from the mixture. Take the ghee in a pan and fry the dry fruits and keep aside and then add the wheat milk and boil in a low flame and after the milk comes to the boiling point add the sugar, elachi powder and food color by adding ghee to it in between the mixture is cooked. Finally add the pineapple essence for the mixture and garnish with the fried dry fruits.
Curd – 2cups salt and sugar- for taste
Pine apple pieces- ½ cup pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Banana – 3
Pomegranate seeds – 1cup
Preparation Process: Add all the fruit pieces in the curd and then add the essence, salt and sugar and finally add the pepper powder and serve cool.
Tri color pulav
Food color – pinch green chilli paste – ¼ tsp
Basmati rice – 2 1/2 cups cauliflower – small one
Onions – 2 carrots – 3
Potatoes – 2 big size salt – to taste
Coriander leaves – 4 bunches
Method of making: Cook the rice and keep aside. Fry all the vegetables in a pan by adding some oil and then add the chili paste, salt and red chili powder and keep aside. Divide the cooked rice into 3 portions and add the food color for 1 part of rice. Spread the fried onions in a cooker and place the rice on it and then the fried vegetable mixture as the next layer and then finally the rice as the last layer and cook the mixture in the cooker for 10min without keeping the whistle. Finally garnish it with onion and carrot and serve hot.
