How to reach NAVA NARASIMHA TEMPLES

navanarasimha route map on ahobilamOn the name of Lord Narasimha several temples are available in Andhra Pradesh. As per survey, 32 Narasimha temples are located in different parts of A.P. Out of 32 Narasimha temples nine temples are located  very nearer to Ahobilam Village, Allagada town, Kurnool district. In this place the NAVANARASIMHA KSHETRAM temple is located on the name of Ahobilam.

To visit this place (Kshetram) the tourists have to reach the Allagadda town, which is in nine Km distance to Nandyal (south). These temples are connected to Ahobilam i.e., in the direction of Agneyam with in a distance of 24 Km.

This Ahobilam village is adjacent to Nallamala hills. With in a distance of 8 km from the hills, these nine temples can be found. In these temples the main temple name is Ugra Narasimha temple.

Bus route is made available to this place. The bus starts from Allagadda will cover some of these places. The important temple name is Ugra Narasimha Swami temple, and this is a very small temple. The entire temple is in a cave. Some part of the cave has been carved and formed as a temple. On the way to Ugra Narasimha temple i.e., before   th km Karimji Narasimhaswami temple is available. It is a very small temple.

After Ugra Narasimhaswami temple, in between the Hills and forest area there are some temples. With in the distance of  km from Ugra Narasimha swami temple, Varaha Narasimha swami temple and from that place within 1 Km distance Malola Narasimha swami temple is there and from that place at a distance of 3 km Prahladabadi are there.

From this place at a distance of 3 Km one Ugra pillar can be found. In 3 km distance Jwala Narasimhaswami temple can be found. On the other side of the main temple Ugra Narasimhaswami the Pavana Narasimhaswami temple also is there. To cover all these temples the tourist have to walk between the hill and forest areas i.e., from the place of Ugranarasimhaswami temple.

At the bottom of hills from the Ahobilam village (south) i.e., with in 2 Km two temples named Chatravatana Narasimha swami, Yogananda Narasimha swami are available. To the north side of the village Bhargaa Narasimhaswami temple is available. All these temples are called Nava Namarasimha Swamy temples and each one temple is having individual place value and history.
