Notification for ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test) that provides admission into MBA and MCA, in all modes like full time/part time/evening/distance mode, has been released and the applications are invited for the same.

ICET 2010 Eligibility
Candidate appearing for this exam should be an Indian citizen. Local/non-local status is considered and the candidate should satisfy the same. Other nations citizens are also eligible to appear this exam but abiding to the rules of the concerned University. Candidates who passed degree or appearing final year exams can apply for this entrance test. MBA aspiring candidates must have graduation of not less than three years and should have mathematics as one of the subjects in the SSC or equivalent level. MCA aspiring candidates must have graduation of not less than three years and should have mathematics as one of the subjects in both 10 + 2 or equivalent and graduation or equivalent level. Candidates should score at least 25% of marks for qualifying the exam. SC/ST candidates have relaxation from this minimum marks.

Even though a candidate qualifies in the entrance test, he/she is admitted into MBA/MCA course only if:
He/she attends online counseling as specified and all the conditions of admissions prescribed by the authority concerned are satisfied. For distance mode, should apply to the admission notification released by concerned authority.

ICET 2010 Important Dates:
Initiation of sale of application forms: 25th February 2010
Last date for sale and receipt of application forms without late fee: 5th April 2010
Last date for sale and receipt of application forms with a late fee of Rs. 500 through DD: 19th April 2010
Last date for sale and receipt of application forms with a late fee of Rs. 2000 through DD: 24th April 2010
ICET Examination Date: 27th May 2010, Thursday from 10 AM to 12: 30 PM
