Indian Overseas Bank is offering the facility to open the bank account for Rs.5 | IOB Sampoorna scheme is introduced by Indian Overseas bank to provide facilities to villages

Indian Overseas Bank had decided to open the bank accounts for Rs.5 by visiting the people and providing the account at their door step. According to this facility, bank employees will go to the houses of the people in streets and slum areas and provide the bank account for Rs.5. IOB’s goal is to provide the bank accounts through easy process and for all the poor people. IOB is trying to open 3 lakh accounts on the first day of implementing this scheme. IOB was established in 1937 and it completed 75 years on February 10th, 2011. So, many schemes were introduced in this occasion. To solve the problems in the villages, bank is introducing the IOB Sampoorna scheme. Few villages will be selected for this scheme in every village.
