Jagdish Chandra Bose conducted many researches in Physics, Biology, and Archeology and also in Bengali literature. Jagdish Chandra Bose’s father believed that everybody should learn their mother tongue first and then learn other languages.  As per the ideal of his father, Jagdish Chandra Bose’s primary education started in a common school.  He studied along with the son of his father’s attender and the son of the fisherman.  There association has expanded his thinking.  Bose was the first person to write science fiction in Bengali literature.  He showed that plants have life and they suffer pain when nipped.

After completing studies in Cambridge University, London, Jagdish Chandra Bose joined as a Physics lecturer in Calcutta Presidency college in 1885.   He received awards like Companion of the order of the Indian Empire, Companion of the order of the Star of India and Night Bachelor. Learning about the childhood, victories of Jagdish Chandra Bose will be a good education for everybody.
