Jawaharlal Technological University Kakinada has issued notification for admission into 2^nd year BE/BTech/BPharmacy programmes under lateral entry scheme for the academic year 2012-13. Candidates who are diploma holders in engineering and graduates with mathematics are eligible to apply for these courses. Engineering Common Entrance Test ECET – 2012 will be conducted by JNTU for admissions. Applications forms for ECET – 2012 have to be sent in the prescribed format.

ECET – 2012 application and instruction booklet which contains the details of eligibility, written exam syllabus etc are available in specified post offices and Axis bank branches which can be obtained by paying RS. 300.

Important dates for ECET 2012

Applications for ECET – 2012 will be available from 18^th February, 2012 and the last date for receiving the applications without any late fee is 2^nd April, 2012. ECET – 2012 will be conducted on 24^th May, 2012 from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm.  Application forms can also be submitted with late fee of Rs. 500 till 12^th April, 2012; with Rs. 1,000 till 20^th April, 2012 and with a late fee of Rs. 5,000 till 9^th May, 2012.

Filled in applications of ICET -2012 along with all the required documents should be sent to Convener, ECET – 2012, ECET officer, 1^st Floor, Administrative Building, JNTUK, and Kakinada.
