Joint Bio Tech Examination Model Paper | Advanced Specializations courses with Joint Bio Tech Examination

Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the famous universities and stood first in the rank in the country that offers qualitative education for the students. This university is offering M.Sc Bio – Technology course from the last 16 years and the JNU is conducting joint entrance examination for the admissions into the course for around 30 reputed universities every year. The only thing that the student has to understand is the scheme of examination and has to prepare the time table for preparation of subjects as per the examination pattern helps the student to get admission into the reputed institute easily.

Advanced Specializations courses with Joint Bio Tech Examination

The combined bio technology entrance examination that is conducted by the JNU is very special when compared to that of the other exams conducted by other universities. The universities through which the students get admission are the reputed ones only which are having qualitative standards. If the candidate is eligible in the entrance examination, there is a chance to join in any specialization course of their choice in the M.Sc bio technology. The Annamalai and Goa universities are offering M.Sc Marine Bio Technology courses and the Sardar Patel University is offering the M.Sc Industrial Bio technology course and the Tejpur University is offering M.Sc Molecular Bio Technology course. Besides these courses the general entrance examination for the M.Sc bio technology course is mandatory to secure the rank in the entrance examination.

Preparation through Sections (Joint Bio Tech Examination Model Paper)

The combined Bio technology course that is conducted by the JNU is completely in the form of objective multiple choices and the duration of the exam is 3 hrs. There are two sections in the examination. They are the Section A and Section B.

Coming to the section ‘A’….

–It consists of the questions from the subjects like science, physics and biology and the questions will be in the 10+2 standard and there are around 60 questions with one mark each and there is a negative marking of half mark for the wrong answer.

–The books like the biology, mathematics and physics and chemistry of CBSE are helpful for the preparation of the exam and even the books that are printed by the Telugu Academy for 10+2 level are also useful for the preparation.

–The biology students are supposed to read intermediate mathematics, physics syllabus books for the preparation of the examination. In physics the topics like mechanics, electro stats, modern physics, and optics are important and coming to the mathematics the topics like matrix, derivatives, calculus, and trigonometry are very important.

Coming to the section ‘B’ …

There are in total 100 questions in this section and the candidate have to answer any 60 questions and in case if the student write more than 60 questions it is not valid because the first 60 questions are only countable.

The marks that are obtained from the subjects like mathematics and physics are 40, 20 from chemistry. Each question carries 3 marks and in that way the whole paper consists of 180 marks and there is a cut off mark of one mark for the wrong answers.

The candidates have to give importance to the below mentioned subjects and topics before preparing for the examination.

They are as follows:

In the advanced biology, the topics like bio technology, micro biology, genetics and molecular biology and in case if the candidate had done with these subjects in the graduation it is better to concentrate more in the subjects like botany and zoology.

Metabolism, enzymes and immunology in the bio chemistry.

General, industrial, applied micro biology and microbial interactions in the micro biology.

Mundelein genetics, transcription, translation, RDNA technology and molecular techniques in the molecular biology and genetics syllabus.

Plant Physiology, Ecology are the subjects in Botany.

Animal Physiology, Animal Bio technology and Environmental Biology are the topics covered under Zoology.

Reactivity, Reaction Mechanism, Stereo chemistry, Spectroscopy are the topics covered under Organic Chemistry and Chemical Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Electro Chemistry,  Atmoic Chemistry are the topics covered under Physical Chemistry. Analytical Chemistry and MOT are the topics covered under Organic Chemistry.

Electricity, Optics, Waves, Oscillations, Thermodynamics are under Physics.

Differential Equations, Integrations and Co – ordinate Geometry are the topics under Mathematics.
