Kirankumar Reddy who was one of the main followers of YS, tried to get a post of ministry in 2004. He couldn’t get a ministry post but got the post of government chief VIP post. After 2009 elections also, he tried his best to join the cabinet as minister. Recognizing the political skills of Kirankumar Reddy, Dr.  YS Rajasekhar Reddy has given the post of speaker of the assembly. Even though working as a speaker, he tried his best to get a ministry in the cabinet, whenever there are news of expansion of the cabinet. His wish to become a minister in the cabinet is not fulfilled, but suddenly he became chief minister for Andhra Pradesh state.

Biography of Nallari  Kirankumar Reddy

Nallari Kirankumar Reddy is born in a famous political family in Nagaripalli, Kalikiri mandal of Chittor district, on 13th September 1960. He grew up in Hyderabad.

Kirankumar Reddy has entered politics as a successor for his father Amaranatha Reddy, in the year 1989. He won over Telugu Desam party Candidate Chintala Ramachandra Reddy in Vayalpadu  constituency in 1989 elections. In the year 1994, he was defeated by the same candidate Chintala Ramachandra Reddy by the difference of 24,000 votes. Again in the year 1999, Kirankumar Reddy won over the same candidate with a majority of 500 votes. In the year 2004,  Kirankumar Reddy won over TDP contestant Intiyaaz with a majority of 14,000 votes and has served as chief VIP in the reign of YS. In the elections of 2009, Kirankumar Reddy has won with a majority of 8,000 votes and expected a ministry post from his district. But he got selected as speaker for the assembly.
