Three big windows per bogie to watch nature and surrounding, AC for every cabin, LCD TVs, DVD players, telephones, internet and electronic safe deposit lockers are some of the luxuries in this rail. Fare is one lakh rupees per day. It will tour all India with all luxuries in it. This is Maharaja Express train. This is the most luxurious train built after the palace on wheels train.

It is to be started by Indian Railway Minister, Mamta Benerjee in Kolkata on 20th March 2010. This tour of six days, seven nights will cover Delhi, Gaya, Varanasi, Bandhavghar, Khajraho, Gwalior, and Agra. It is designed jointly by Indian Rail Catering, Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and Cocks and Kings India Limited. Only 88 people will travel in this train. To travel in deluxe cabin, the minimum to be paid is Rs. 36 thousands.

The next charges levels are Rs. 40 thousand and Rs. 64 thousand. For getting into presidential suit, Rs. 1.13 lakhs will be charged. These charges are fixed keeping in mind the foreign tourists. It will take three months to get a ticket for Palace on Wheels train. This Maharaja express will attract people with its luxurious facilities.
