Mathematics Training and Talent Search Program (MTTS)

Mathematics is one of the subjects where the students can score full marks. That is the reason why The National Board for Human Mathematics had conducted a program to bring out the hidden talents in the students and the name of the program is called as “The Mathematics Training and Talent Search Program (MTTS)”.

This program consists of three stages called as the 0, 1 and 2. In the first stage”0” there are the topics like Algebra, Analysis, number Theory/ Disrict Mathematics. The students who completed BSc/ BSTAT/ BTech with mathematics as a subject are eligible to appear for this program.

Coming to the second and third stages of the program the 1 and the 2, there are topics like Algebra. Analysis and Topology and the students who are doing BSc/ BSTAT/ BTech second and final year are eligible to appear for the program 1.

The students who are doing MSc/ MSTAT first year with mathematics are eligible to appear for the program 2.  The institutions like Regional Institution Of Education- Mysore, Viswabharathi University- Santhiniketan West Bengal, Harish Chandra Research Institute- Allahabad are conducting this program.

The students who are interested to appear for this program can download the applications from the official website www. mtts.org.in and the last date for the submission of the applications is February 27, 2010.
