Nature of MAT exam and preparation tips for MAT exam
MAT exam is conducted by All India Management association and many organizations which are having AICTE recognization will take the admissions into MBA based in this exam. It is better to observe the facilities in the college before joining in it and library, faculty, placement cell should be observed. Candidate should select the five colleges which offer MBA according to their taste and selection is done based on MAT score, interview and group discussion. Seat is given based on the talent.
Nature of MAT exam
There will be 200 questions in MAT exam and 40 questions will be asked from each section. There will be five sections and each question will carry one mark. There is negative marking and every wrong answer is deducted with 0.25 marks. Answers should be marked in 150 minutes. Language comprehension, analytical ability, mathematical ability, quantitative ability and India and global environment are the topics which are questioned in MAT exam. While giving the score, only first four sections are considered. India and global environment is not considered.
Preparation tips for MAT
There is only 35 days of time for MAT exam which will be held in February 2011. If the students study with proper preparation, it is very easy for them to get good score in MAT. It is a good score if the students get 60 -70 marks out of 160. As there is negative marking in MAT, accuracy and speed should be improved. It is better to leave the unknown questions.
