NCTE Code of Professional Ethics for Teachers |NCTE to Protect Students from Punishments

Teachers punish students for every small mistake and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) prepared a code of professional ethics for teachers to prevent severe punishments to children. NCTE president told that importance is given in professional code to protect students from physical Punishment and mentally harassment. And he also told that by following the guidelines prepared by National Children Rights Commission and adopting the suggestions given by World Bank, All India Primary Teachers Forum (AIPTF), and Government of Andhra Pradesh these laws were prepared.   These principles will be implemented with the help of Teacher’s Associations and other forums.
