NDA … A bright career in three types of army | NDA Selection Procedure

National Defense Academy is the best way to reach to the goals of being Army Officer any of the three types of army. Attractive career in army can be grabbed even with the qualification of intermediate. Joining in NDA will not only give a bright career but also gives satisfaction of serving the nation in security. UPSC conducts NDA test in April and August yearly to produce gem like persons for working in Army, Navy and Air forces. After completing intermediate, many students think about EAMCET, IIT, AIEEE and others such. For students who want to take up different careers can have high paid careers even with that qualification. One can even have chance of getting high grade government job at smaller age and with intermediate qualification. They can join any one among army, navy and air force. After getting trained for three years, they can even get a bachelor’s degree. During the training period, stipend of Rs. 21, 000 is provided. After getting job, starting salaries would be Rs. 45, 000 and the candidates can get to higher grade jobs in air force, navy and army gradually.

NDA Selection Procedure

Indian government has established National Defense Academy (NDA) at Pune, Maharashtra six decades back, with an intention to produce active soldiers taking part in army, navy and air force protecting the nation. From then onwards, it is offering well trained soldiers to army, navy and air forces. NDA and NA have got renowned as best test to enter into military forces. This test will be conducted by UPSC twice a year. This is the only test in India to provide education, training and job with intermediate as qualification. It is one of the best opportunities available for candidates with intermediate qualification.

Selection procedure:  Three stages

Stage -1: Written test of 900 marks in mathematics and general ability.

Mathematics 2 ½ hours 300
General Ability test 2 ½ hours 600

Stage -2: Interview (intelligence and personality test) of 900 marks

Stage-3: Medical Examinations

Written Exams: Objective type questions will be there in English medium. Negative mark will be there for wrong answers. Candidates who have successfully cleared written test are invited for interviews. Those who are successful in interviews are sent for medical tests. Those who pass medical tests with fitness are selected for the course.
