Notification for MBA International business in GITAM | GSIB offers various MBA courses and is second best business school in AP

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) is a renowned institute in Andhra Pradesh. GITAM School of International Business, which is working under GITAM is offering different kinds of MBA courses. Earlier it was called GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade. GITAM has got deemed university status from UGC. It has got fame as deemed university in the Andhra university region. Notification has been released for the admission in to management courses of GSIB for 2011-13 academic years.

GSIB got 14th place in the business school survey conducted by  Business India. This survey has recognized GSIB as the second best business school in Andhra Pradesh. Courses offered by GSIB are:

1.      MBA (International Business)

2.      MBA (International business and finance)

3.      MBA (Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management)

Skilled faculty and industry experts across the nation, would be participating in the training. There will be international internship project. Faculty and student exchange program will be present with International University of Paris, France. Nearly 150 companies belonging to different fields would be providing placement facility for GITAM students.

Admission through GET 2011

Admission in to MBA international business courses would be given based on performance in GSIB Entrance Test 2011, group discussion and interviews. Candidates having at least 50% marks in graduation of any subject are eligible. Those who are appearing for last year exams are also eligible.

Those who have scored in CAT 2010, IIFT 2010, XAT 2010 MAT (September 2010, December 2010, February 2011),  GMAT tests can have exemption from GET 2011. Based on the marks scored in those tests, candidates are short listed for group discussion and interviews. These candidates can also appear for GET 2011.

Online application facility is provided through GSIB website. Those who want to apply offline, can obtain application forms at selected branches of Axis bank and INS centers.

Last date for the receipt of application forms is 31st December 2010. GET 2011 will be conducted on 23rd January 2011. Last date for applying with scores in other tests is 28th February 2011. Case analysis, GD and personal interview are conducted on 13th and 14th of March 2011.
