Obtaining caste certificate in Rajasthan


Persons who residing in Rajasthan and belong to the caste that is listed in the OBC list of Government of Rajasthan can obtain caste certificate in all the major cities/towns of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Udaipur and Ajmer.  The applicant has to submit the application in the prescribed format.  Tehsildar is the person to whom the application has to be submitted.

For obtaining caste certificate in Rajasthan, following are the necessary documents that should accompany the application.

  • Duly filled application form and court fee ticket of Rs. 2
  • Affidavit of Rs. 10.00
  • Ration card attested copy
  • Income certificate
  • Certificates of two government employees
  • Report of the Patwari

Other eligibilities for applying for an OBC caste certificate in Rajasthan are that the income of applicant’s parents must be between Rs. 5,500 – 9,000 if they are in the government service. If only one of them is in the government service then the income should be between Rs. 8,000 – 13,500. If in business their income should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000. As a proof to the above the applicants should submit the income tax returns of the past three years.

For obtaining SC/ST certificate in Rajasthan, the candidate should belong to caste in the SC/ST list.  The application has to be submitted to the Tehsildar with all the necessary documents mentioned above.
