Obtain Driving Licence in Jammu & Kashmir

 

Learner’s licence

Learner’s licence in Jammu & Kashmir can be obtained by applying in Form no. 2 to the Licensing Authority. The documents required to be submitted along with the application –

  • Form No. 2
  • Form no. 1 A medical certificate and Application-cum-declaration of medical fitness in form 1
  • Three passport photos
  • Age and address proof

Regular driving licence

Regular driving licence in Jammu & Kashmir is issued by Licensing Authorities when the application is submitted by the applicant along with all the necessary documents such as –

  • Form 1 A as medical certificate
  • Form No. 4 application form
  • Learner license
  • Three passport photos of the applicant
  • Fee

Renewal of driving licences

Renewal of driving licences is also done by the Licensing authorities in Jammu & Kashmir in places such as Srinagar, Udhampur and Ladakh. For this the holder of the driving licences has to make the application in Form 9. Other documents that are to be submitted along with the application are the permanent driving licence that was issued to the applicant and Form 1 A medical certificate. Three passport photographs of the applicant should also accompany the application along with the fee specified
