Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Under Science Graduates | Eligibility Details for the Candidates to get into Orientation Course
Orientation course is conducted for the engineering and science graduates in the BARC training centers for the year 2011- 2012. Candidates who get a minimum of 50% marks after training is completed will be given a job as scientific officer. Post graduate diploma course is also offered by BARC. Credits will also be obtained by the students which will help them for the M.Tech, M.Phil and PhD courses in the Homi Babha National Institute.
Eligibility for orientation program in BARC
â€¢ Candidates should get a minimum of 60% marks in the engineering degree to get training in the BARC
â€¢ For the degree in physics discipline, candidates should have M.Sc in physics/ applied physics, BE/ B.Tech in physics with minimum of 60% marks in the degree. In the same way, chemistry and bio-science students should get a minimum of 60% marks. Along with these courses, radiological training is given for the students in their respective fields for those who have minimum of 60% marks in geology and geophysics departments.
By August 1st, 2011, general category students should be of 26 years and there is age relaxation is 3 years and five years for the OBC and ST, SC candidates respectively.
