PNR Number is assigned to the tickets issued to the passengers when they have advance reservation of booking tickets in the Indian railways. PNR Number is a 10 digit number. Passengers of Indian railways can have the PNR Status enquiry by sending SMS “PNR (space) PNR Number” to 139.
