How to prepare and analysis of subjects of Traffic Supervisor and Mechanical Supervisor jobs by APSRTC

Candidates can be successful in this exam by practicing with a perfect planning.

Step – 1: Supervisory Aptitude
This section will have 60 objective questions on topics like data sufficiency, data interpretation, Venn diagrams, statements conclusions, taking decisions, blood relations, group reasoning, commonsense test, logical reasoning etc.

Step – 2: Engineering Aptitude
Candidates will have to practice subjects like Thermal engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Automobile engineering and mechanical. Questions will be in the model of E-SET.  It is beneficial to practice old E-SET question papers. Medium of instruction of these questions will be in English.

 

Step-3: Numerical Aptitude
Questions will be asked both in English and Telugu.  The entire question will be from Mathematics and Physics subjects of 7th to 10th class. Number systems, averages, percentages, loss and gain, time and work, common interest, complex interest, partnership etc are the regions where the candidates have to concentrate.

Step-4: Reasoning
Questions in this section will be asked in both English and Telugu. Take the objects books of reasoning and practice for one hour daily as part of the preparation.  Following topics are to be practiced – sequences, series, analogy, numbers, alphabets, number series, coding-decoding, calendar, watches, non-verbal reasoning.

Step-5: General English
All the questions will be asked in English.  This section will have 30 objective questions. Error locations, synonyms, antonyms, spelling, comprehension and idiom are some important topics.

Step-5: General Knowledge
Questions in this section will be in English/Telugu.  30 objective questions will have to be answered.  Success is by preparing well in school level social studies and reading of new paper.  These questions test the memory of candidates.  So groups studies will help to remember the things.

Firsts in India, bests in the world, places and alternate names, persons-titles,  solar system, international standards, inventions-inventors, devices-uses, geography, national emblems, Indian population details, polity box items, economy, general science, science and technology are the most commonly asked topics.

An interview will be conducted after the written exam.
